Fictional Film

I really enjoy writing and producing fictional film pieces. Fiction film is the main reason why I started studying film in the first place. However, at university level I decided to study documentary instead but I still squeezed in some fictional work at the same time.

I'm always looking for budding actors that was to be experimental and work with graduates in film so please email me if you are an actor including a quick paragraph on what acting you are interested/experienced in.

Hollywood Dream

This first example is one of my final grad films that I worked on. I was the cinematographer for this particular piece and the concept and idea was by Jamie Edwards. The story is based on one mans dream of being a famous actor living in Hollywood, however, it has a few plot twists and also incorporates animation with grunge-y real life to create a fantasy story which will have you intrigued.

Apocalypse of the Living

This next example was a very quick project (12 hour brief) which was based on a blackout. Not just any blackout but the end of electricity for good. We (Jamie, Emily and myself) decided that it would cause riots and looting so that is what we represented in this short video:

Knock, Knock.

Next is a video that was another quick project. The brief was 'to tell a joke', however, instead of making a funny film I wanted to create something dark and mysterious that would grip the viewer and make them think. I teamed up with Laura Price and we created this strange video based on the famous joke 'Knock, Knock.' This video is suggestive to mental issues and insomnia as it mixes in what is real and what is imaginary...
